1. Who we are
Apex Radar is a competitive intelligence and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) platform operated by Apex Architects. The website at getapexradar.com and the Radar OS product are services of Apex Architects.
For privacy questions, contact us at hello@apexarchitects.xyz. For Apex Architects business inquiries, see apexarchitects.xyz.
2. What information we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver the service.
Information you provide directly
- Free audit form: the website URL you submit, your name, and your email address.
- Account information (when accounts launch): name, email, business name, billing details processed by Stripe.
- Support correspondence: the contents of any email or message you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs: IP address, user agent string, referrer URL, request timestamps. Retained for security and abuse prevention.
- Audit results: the public information our scanners discover about the URL you submitted (page content, schema markup, AI engine citations) and the resulting AEO and SEO scores.
Information about third parties (when you ask us to scan them)
- If you submit a competitor URL for monitoring, we crawl publicly accessible information from that URL. We do not access password-protected or private content.
What we do NOT collect: we do not buy data brokers, we do not load third-party tracking pixels (Facebook, TikTok, ad networks), and we do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
3. How we use your information
- Deliver the service. Run the audit you requested, generate the report, email it to you.
- Communicate with you. Send the report you requested, respond to support requests, send service updates (e.g., outage notifications).
- Marketing (only with consent or legitimate interest, and you can opt out at any time). Founder Beta launch announcement, occasional product updates.
- Improve the service. Aggregate usage trends to make Apex Radar better.
- Security and abuse prevention. Detect bots, abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Legal compliance. Respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms.
4. Legal basis (GDPR / Quebec Law 25)
Our bilingual user base means we serve customers in jurisdictions with strong privacy laws including the EU (GDPR) and Quebec (Law 25). Under those laws, we rely on the following legal bases:
| Activity | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Running the audit you requested | Contract / performance of a service |
| Sending you the report you asked for | Contract |
| Server logs, security, abuse prevention | Legitimate interest |
| Marketing emails (Founder Beta, product updates) | Consent (you can opt out anytime) |
| Responding to legal requests | Legal obligation |
If you are in Quebec, our designated privacy officer is the contact listed in section 13. You have all rights granted under Law 25, including the right to data portability and the right to be informed of automated decisions.
6. International data transfers
Apex Architects is based in Canada. Our service providers (Cloudflare, Airtable, Slack, Stripe, AI engines) are primarily based in the United States. By using Apex Radar you consent to your data being processed in those jurisdictions.
For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable, plus our service providers' own privacy programs.
7. How long we keep information

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights. Apex Radar honors these rights for all users globally regardless of where law applies.
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
